Flocke (about John Locke): He was a very sad man. A victim, shouting at the world for being told what he couldn't do... Even though they were right. He was weak and pathetic and irreparably broken. But despite all that, there was something admirable about him. He was the only one of them, who didn't want to leave. The only one, who realized how pitiful, the life he'd left behind actually was.

Young Jacob: You know the rules. You can't kill him.
Flocke: Don't tell me, what I can't do!

Flocke: Am I interrupting?
Jin: John?
Claire: That's not John. This is my friend.

Sayid: What are you?
Flocke: Well, Sayid, you seem to have some idea about that, considering that you stabbed me in the chest without even saying "Hello".

Sawyer: What happened back at the temple? How'd you know to rescue everybody from that smoke thing?
Flocke: I didn't rescue them. I'm the smoke thing.

Flocke: When you over there, James, you mentioned that Widmore had someone guarding a room on his submarine, guarding something that he didn't want you to see.
Sawyer: Yeah, so?
Flocke: I don't like secrets.

Jack: You look just like him.
Flocke: Does it bother you?
Jack: No, what bothers me is I don't have any idea what the hell you are.
Flocke: Sure you do.
Jack: Why John Locke?
Flocke: Because he was stupid enough to believe that he'd been brought here for a reason, because he pursued that beliefe until it got him killed, and because you were kind enough to bring his body back here in a nice wooden box.

Jack: Who else have you looked like?
Flocke: Jack, what do you really want to ask me?
Jack: The third day we were here, I saw... I chased my father through the jungle my... dead father. Was that you?
Flocke: Yes, that was me.
Jack: Why?
Flocke: You needed to find water.

Jack: Why should I trust you?
Flocke: Because I could kill you Jack, right here, right now. And I could kill every single one of your friends and there's not a thing that you could do to stop me.

Jacob: Well, I don't wanna leave this island. It's my home.
Flocke: Well, it's not mine.

Flocke: Just the man I was looking for.
Ben: Well, you found me. Can I get you a glass of lemonade?

Flocke: Ben... You never cease to amaze me.

Ben: What did Widmore say to you?
Flocke: He said Desmond was a fail-safe. Jacob's last resort in case, god forbid, I managed to kill all of his beloved candidates. One final way to make sure that I never leave this place.
Ben: Then... Why are you happy that he's still alive?
Flocke: Because I'm gonna find Desmond. And when I do, he's gonna help me do the one thing that I could never do myself. I'm gonna destroy the island.

Flocke: Jacob being who he is, I expected to be a little more surprised. You're sort of the obvious choice, don't you think?
Jack: He didn't choose me. I volunteered.
Flocke: I assume you're here to stop me.
Jack: I can't stop you. In fact, I, uh, I wanna go with you.
Flocke: I'm sorry, Jack. I think you're a little confused about what I came here to do.
Jack: No, I'm not. No, you're going to the far side of the bamboo forest to the place that I've sworn that I'll protect. And then you think you're gonna destroy the island.
Flocke: I think?
Jack: That's right, because that's not what's gonna happen.
Flocke: Then what's gonna happen, Jack?
Jack: I'm gonna kill you.
Flocke: How do you plan to do that?
Jack: It's a surprise.
